The only downfall to travel sized items is that they are very expensive when you think about how much of the product you’re actually getting for that price. However, you are buying convenience, and “Travel sized” doesn’t necessarily mean tiny. One ‘travel size’ bottle may last you multiple trips. Another option is to buy travel bottles and jars to fill with products you have and use at home. Personally, I’m only a fan of this method for shampoo and conditioner.
The Toiletry Bag
Forget the flimsy Ziploc bags and invest in a versatile, hanging toiletry bag with multiple compartments. This perfect travel companion holds all your products with elastic bands so they stay upright and in place during the trip. I used to use 2-3 different bags before purchasing this, and now I fit everything, including my makeup in this one bag. The organization makes my heart flutter.
