Espresso Martinis have taken this generation by the hand and led us to a land where we don’t have to choose between coffee and alcohol on a night out on the town. LOL!
It’s a drink that makes heads turn and the entire table will order one as soon as they’re mentioned. They’re the new vodka + Red Bull for millennials because we’re older, out of college, and have gotten a little wiser with age. Right?!
I wanted to elevate this classic to a warm, cozy, fall + winter space by adding a toasted s’more topping! The s’mores topping is replacing the trademark three coffee beans on the top. Those three beans are a traditional garnish of Sambuca (unique Italian liqueur) in Italy. Each bean represents a well wish! One for happiness, one for health, and one for prosperity. Those three beans are also welcome on this martini.
For the ingredients, I made it easier on myself and used Bizzy brand espresso, Kahula, and Tito’s Vodka. The Bizzy Espresso is a great alternative to making fresh espresso during a busy party.If you do choose fresh espresso, make sure you cool it down before making your drinks.
Toasted S’more Espresso Martini
Ingredients
- Bizzy Espresso (Or Fresh Espresso, cooled down)
- Kahlua
- Vodka (I prefer Tito's)
- Ice
- Toasted Marshmallow
- Hershey's Chocolate Squares
- Chocolate Syrup
- Crushed Graham Crackers
- Whipped Cream
Instructions
- Dip the rim of each glass into chocolate syrup, then into crushed graham crackers.
- Place to the side while making your drink.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add the espresso, vodka and Kahula.
- Shake it up. The harder you shake, the more signature foam you’ll create.
- Strain the espresso martini into the martini glasses.
- Top each martini with toasted marshmallows on a toothpick, a dollop of whipped cream and a single Hershey chocolate square.
- Enjoy!
