Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays simply because there’s very little pressure that comes with it. There’s no rushed holiday feeling and it’s actually a nice little family “break” before the real madness begins. The whole family comes together to enjoy a delicious meal, then there’s family games, couch naps, and neighborhood walks followed by a huge slice of pie. I know I’m describing a very traditional American Thanksgiving, but that’s what it’s all about. It’s just the simplicity of it all that makes my heart smile.

Since thanksgiving does revolve around food, a pretty and inviting table is in order. You can create a very simple, yet beautiful tablescape just about any way you like, but I’m here to share some of my favorite ideas!

Fall Tablescapes

Natural

Use leafy garlands for a natural table runner with scattered pumpkins and votives. Place pinecones at each place setting and add lush tree branches to small vases as a centerpiece.

Traditional

Find a traditional tablecloth to pair with your most elegant tableware. Use lots of orange pumpkins and fall leaves to bring the traditional Thanksgiving alive.
E

Minimal

A flowy table runner and candle holders is all you need to create this minimal but elegant table. Take out the candles and add tiny vases of succulents as another minimal vibe option!
E

Moody

Bring all your deep darker colors to create an elegant table setting! Darker woods, maroon, purples, blacks, and deep oranges bring all the moody vibes to this table. Add in some candles to light at dinnertime to set the mood just right.

Colorful

You can save this theme for the Kids Table, but it definitely can be a fun adult table as well. Pull together all your colorful pumpkins, ribbons, and serveware to create a festive and bright table! Add candy for an extra fun pop of color!

Themed

Pick a theme and run with it! You could do a color (blue), flower (sunflower), fruit (apple), or favorite plant (eucalyptus) to decorate your Thanksgiving table.

Simple Thanksgiving Tablescapes

While my house may scream “It’s Christmas” by mid-November, I always have a table or two dedicated to Thanksgiving. I want the table to be simple, welcoming, and just as pretty as the Thanksgiving foods on it. I don’t use the traditional Thanksgiving colors, as I like...

All the Details on our Kitchen Remodel

All the Details on our Kitchen Remodel

I want to start off and let you know I had to google what the difference between a ‘remodel’ and ‘renovation’ is for this post. A remodel is making changes to the structure, while a renovation is more like a restoration. Now that we’re all in the know on that, I’m...

Toasted S’more Espresso Martini

Toasted S’more Espresso Martini

Espresso Martinis have taken this generation by the hand and led us to a land where we don’t have to choose between coffee and alcohol on a night out on the town. LOL! It’s a drink that makes heads turn and the entire table will order one as soon as they’re mentioned....
