A Galentine’s party is the ultimate excuse to dress in pink, red, glitter, and glam and celebrate friendship with your best gals. According to its creator, character Leslie Knope, it’s the best day of the year! Galentine’s Day originated in an episode of the popular comedy “Parks & Recreation.” In season 2, episode 16, the lead character, Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler celebrated the holiday with a group of her best girlfriends at a restaurant. Traditionally, Galentine’s Day is February 13th, but any day in February calls for a celebration of love in my book! Shop this post here and here

My top five tips on throwing an ultimate Galentine’s party for your best girlfriends or your little loves.

1. Choose a Theme

While Galentines is a theme of its own, spice is up a little with one of these cute themes and to make a custom hashtag on your socials!

2. Have Party Favors

I created cute pink boxes with some goodies for my girls. I ordered these gable boxes from amazon and added Bubblelicious, pink chapstick, mini pink body spray, and a bow hair clip.

3. Have an Activity Planned

Set up a shop for a DIY flower bar, hire a chef to teach a sushi class, get supplies to paint or make candles, have a favorite rom-com or murder mystery movie ready to play! Setting up fondue to eat would double as an activity in itself.

4. Have Photo Props and Fun Accessories

Get heart glasses, headbands, fuzzy slippers, and pink mustaches to take some fun pictures!

5. Make Reservations

If you’d rather have a restaurant take care of things, make a reservation and bring minimum decor.
