Monster Fruit Tray

Monster Fruit Tray

I added a variety of fruits onto the tray, but the mango and apples were the stars. I used these edible candy eyes from Target to make the fruits into cute edible monsters.

Ingredients

  • Apples
  • Nutella or Peanut Butter
  • Mango
  • Candy Eyes

Instructions

For the apples:

  • Cut each apple into 4 pieces, then cut a wedge into each piece.
  • Fill each wedge with nutella or peanut butter.
  • Stick on the monster eyes to the nutella or peanut butter!

For the mango:

  • Cut each side off the mango. Cut vertical lines into the mango without going through the skin.
  • Then cut horizontal lines the same depth, making a grid onto the mango.
  • Turn mango inside out by pushing the skin side out with your thumbs.
  • If your mango is juicy enough, you won’t need anything to help make the edible candy eyes stick!
  • Surround your cute fruit monsters with other fruit friends to make the tray full.
