The margarita and red wine walk into a bar: a tale that sounds like my two best friends just met and hit it off, creating a beautiful friendship nobody knew we needed. I can’t think of a better combination for a Halloween cocktail during Florida’s “Fall”. The refreshing crisp taste of a margarita perfectly cozied up to a shot of red wine, and just a few shakes away.
One of my favorite margarita mixes makes this cocktail so simple, you have no excuse to not make it for your Halloween festivities. Agalima Margarita mix is easily found at Publix, while Agave Margarita Mix by WithCo is available online.
Bloody Margarita
Ingredients
- Casamigos Blanco Tequila
- Agalima Margarita Mix
- Red Wine
- Ice
- Black berries
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, shake the tequila and margarita mix with ice
- Carefully strain into a glass filled with ice
- Add a shot glass of red wine
- Top with blackberries
- **Use dyed salt (red or black) or Tajin to rim the glass**
