The service stands adobe all at Blackberry Farm. The team will do or find almost anything you need, whisk you around in their fleet of Lexus SUVs (if you don’t care to drive your golf cart around), and make sure you’re enjoying your stay. On our way out, our flight time was during lunch, and they had boxed lunches waiting for us in the Lexus to take us to the airport. I was in awe of their kindness and thoughtfulness to every single detail.
Our Stay
We booked a 2 night stay in the Cottages at Blackberry Farm to celebrate our 16 year wedding anniversary in April. We ended up with a Hill Cottage, which is their largest accommodation with 1 bedroom, screened in sitting porch, large kitchen and living room with complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. The cottage also comes with a golf cart to tote you around the gorgeous property all weekend. Roaming the beautiful farm at dusk in the golf cart was a favorite of mine!
Activities + Experiences
When you book, the concierge will greet you with an email FILLED with activities to choose from. These range from eating experiences, guided hikes, fitness classes, and spa treatments.
If you have more time, add on clay shooting, fly fishing, boating, hiking, kayaking and more. Activities will also differ between seasons and Blackberry Farm does have 2 swimming pools on property!
The Food
The food alone should be a reason to visit. Blackberry Farm is home to 3 different restaurants.
The Main House is where we would eat breakfast and lunch. The overnight oats for breakfast became a quick favorite and the burger was a huge hit for lunch. The menu sticks to the Southern flair with classics like Buttermilk Biscuits & Gravy, Farm Eggs from one of our local egg farmers or the chef’s daily Griddle Cakes.
The Dogwood is in the Main House but with a dinner and Children’s menu. We did not eat here during our stay, but heard it’s a great alternative to the Barn for longer stays.
