2. Have an outdoor movie night
String lights, candles, popcorn with some yummy add-ins!. Bonus points if you use a projector and line some chairs up to make it look like a whole Pinterest board backyard movie scene. Oh, and make sure you bring fans! Or you’ll be back in the air conditioning before you meet the main character.

4. Host a “nothing fancy” summer dinner party
Paper plates, rosé spritzers, grilled peaches, and kids running barefoot through the yard. The best kind of chaos.
5. Do an ice cream crawl
Yes, like a bar crawl, but way more mom-core. Hit 2-3 local spots and let the kids “judge” the flavors. You get to taste everything. Everyone wins.
7. Catch a baseball game or a drive-in movie
The snacks are nostalgic, and no one will judge if you leave during the 3rd inning or halfway through the film.
8. Make a summer scrapbook (the digital kind)
Scroll back through your camera roll, make a Chatbook or a photo dump. Relive the magic and save it before the September school emails take over.
9. Buy one ridiculous thing for next summer on clearance
The floppy hat, the inflatable flamingo, the gold-plated s’mores skewer set. Future you will be thrilled.
10. Lay in the grass and do absolutely nothing
No errands, no meal plans, no instagram scrolling. Just you, the sun, and maybe a popsicle. This is your permission slip.
